Chemstar is a dedicated sales organization focused exclusively on plastic mass-transfer media — built on more than 36 years of in-house manufacturing experience at our parent company, Kittyhawk Molding Co. Chemstar isn’t trying to be everything. We make one thing, high-performance plastic random packing and we make it consistently, batch after batch. That focus is what lets us hold tight dimensional and material spec on every X PACK we ship.
We support industrial and municipal customers who need mass-transfer media they can rely on: process engineers specifying scrubbers and strippers, OEMs building packaged systems, and procurement teams placing repeat orders for plant maintenance and replacement.

Chemstar is a young company built on deeply experienced foundations. While the Chemstar brand is new, the manufacturing expertise behind it isn’t — our parent organization, Kittyhawk Molding Co, has been injection-molding industrial components for more than 36 years.
That depth of experience shows up in three places that matter to our customers:
- Tooling. We design and maintain our own mold tooling in-house. Tight tolerances, consistent dimensions, and the ability to refresh and retool without lead-time risk.
- Materials. We work directly with polymer resin suppliers and formulations are sourced to spec, with the documentation to back it up.
- Production. Stocked product in boxes and super sacks on demand. We don’t make customers wait for a production run; X PACKS are in stock and shipping.
The Chemstar mission is straightforward: be the supplier process engineers and procurement teams keep coming back to for plastic mass-transfer media. We focus on doing one thing exceptionally well — and growing that capacity year after year.

Dave Holmes
Dave Holmes works directly with customers on product support, logistics coordination, and order execution for Chemstar's random packing media product line. With a background in logistics, customer operations, and supply chain management, Dave focuses on responsive communication, reliable lead times, and ensuring customers receive the support they need from quote through delivery. Dave also serves in the Indiana Army National Guard, where leadership, accountability, and operational excellence continue to shape his approach to customer service and business operations. Those principles drive his commitment to clear communication, follow-through, and delivering on customer expectations. At Chemstar, Dave works closely with both customers and manufacturing to ensure projects move efficiently, challenges are addressed quickly, and expectations are clearly communicated throughout every stage of the process.
Kevin Daily
Kevin Daily works directly with customers on product selection, project support, and business development for Chemstar's random packing media product line. With extensive experience in the random packing industry, Kevin has held leadership roles in sales, operations, project management, and business development, giving him a well-rounded understanding of both customer needs and manufacturing operations. At Chemstar, Kevin helps customers identify practical solutions for packed tower, scrubber, and industrial mass transfer applications. He works closely with customers from initial inquiry through delivery, providing technical guidance, product recommendations, and responsive support throughout the process. Guided by a commitment to integrity, service, and accountability, Kevin believes trust, communication, and follow-through are the foundation of lasting customer partnerships and long-term success.
